Keeping your iPad Safe and Snug in a Comfy Bag
Now that the iPad is out, lots of people are looking for ways to keep their new precious toys safe and snug. Fortunately there has been a huge response in the market and there are now literally hundreds of different bags and cases about that will do the job. They also cover all tastes, price ranges and styles so whether you want a simple neoprene sleeve or something much more robust you are sure to find what you want. The only snag is that demand for some products has been so intense that there is a waiting period for some of them.
Starting with iPad bags for men, there is a nice range of messenger bags that has hit the market. Many of these are designed to hold both tablet computers such as the iPad as well as small 10 inch netbook computers. Many also carry them in a vertical position. This leads to a really slim shape that does not take up much space at all. They come in fabric with padding or, for a bit more money, you can get a really stylish one made from leather. These also come in a variety of styles. Many people like to choose plain black leather ones but I prefer brown or distressed leather. A lot of this is down to personal taste. Just be sure you get something that offers a bit of padding and good protection against bumps and spills.
If you don’t want to go for a dedicated bag you could also choose something such as a canvas messenger bag which will be quite cheap but also flexible. You can carry books and papers in it. The only addition that I would make is to get a sleeve made from something like neoprene to give a bit more protection to my computer since most canvas bags do not have anything in the way of padding and shock protection.
