The problem with being contracted to a company or individual leasing a laptop is the temptation to get the minimum cover offered, such as a basic and fixed length warranty. Should your laptop malfunction and is being used on a day-to-day basis, it is extremely important that the leasing conditions allow for a replacement or that a comprehensive warranty be included, meaning you will not have to pay additional service fees.
Even if you cannot afford a laptop yourself, and laptop leasing appears to be a suitable option for this reason, take time to see the bigger picture, calculate overall charges for the duration of the contract and you might well reconsider the option of laptop leasing.
